borrowed words…

“i doubt sometimes whether a quiet and unagitated life would have suited me –- yet i sometimes long for it” (lord byron)

when my thoughts are racing faster than my fingers can type and my mouth can speak, sure enough, i can always count on byron. more on him (and his daughter ada) sometime soon.

Lady Charlotte Lamb was so in love with Byron she sent him a handful of her pubic hair she had ripped out in a letter when he refused to see her.

    Ouch.

Sometimes I long for a quiet mind.

Then I wonder, if my mind was quiet, with whom would I have such engaging conversation?

Hats off to you, Gnatty, because you truly understand, as Byron did. As Sexton. As Mozart.

It’s not so fun all the time, being an artist. But it’s what we have, so we have to deal with it. And sometimes, from it, comes art.
