hungry? fine. i don’t have to sprint to the kitchen, though. if i must, however, i should first make sure the dishwasher door is locked in place. now the aftermath of my klutziness is a few days of no running. my knee is a big blue ball this morning and hurts like hell when bent. 5 months to the avalon benefit 50-mile race… note to self: do not screw up until then. (like deciding to go skiing in december a couple of weeks before the race, or other brilliant moves like that). and definitely no ‘race for the bread’ stunts. there’s plenty of food at ultras!
lesson learned yesterday:

oh no!!!
hope it feels better soon.
Yi Yi, that smarts! Nice blood shot!
I’m still eating veggies – no meat just yet. Just lots of pasta and stuff and it all tastes pretty good. I don’t miss it at all. I am, however, beginning to crave a good strong cup of coffee (been 2 weeks). I’m gettin’ cranky over here!!
nice picture. hope you feel better!
Hey, too bad you missed Avalon – I was there this year:) Hope you make it in 2007! It’s a great run!
And yeah, that is if you heal your knee and don’t do anything stupid:)
thanks! the swelling is going down, and the pain is milder. tripped on my shoe at work this afternoon. almost fell. i never learn. i’m itching for a run so bad…
What?
sorry to hear about the knee 🙁 , but i have to say, gnatty…that is one kick-ass scar! you can make us some good “you should see the other guy” stories about that one 🙂
i hope you are up and running again very soon.
