the air smells bitter;
the sounds coming through the window, distant.
morning comes.
dewey. gray. empty.
the ceiling fan reminds me of the world outside.
the light is outside.
inside… hollow.

I understand.
As much as it seems that way, your insides aren’t hollow. Look at the joy and creativity you bring to the outside.
It wouldn’t nearly be as light outside if there weren’t your contributions.
Sometimes when one part of inside is hollow, the whole inside seems hollow. Don’t forget to acknowledge that which is full inside as well as identify what is hollow and how to fill it up.
Keep writing, and running- and above all, connecting with other people and things you love. They all would not be the same without you.
The world would not have its light without you exactly as you are.
Hi Gnatty!
Thanks so much for dropping by and for leaving such a nice comment. See you next time!

A beautiful entry about a painful subject. I hope the feeling is passing, like passing a runner on the road.
Good luck, my friend.
