Would you believe that so far I’ve never had a running blister?? Maybe it part it’s due to my injinji socks… I don’t know…

On most training runs I just use good dry wick running socks, good running shoes & clothes. For longer tougher runs I like to use Biotone dual purpose massage crème (works for all spots subject to chaffing). It is cheaper than bodyglide and seems to work really well for me. I hate the idea of greasing up with Vaseline yuck!!!

LOL that reminds me of ‘orange-juice-as-birth-control-method’. ‘orange juice? before or after?’ – ‘instead’.

One must ask a follow up question, what is causing the blisters? Eliminate the cause and voila! Blisters gone! Just sayin… and no, running is not the cause! Run Good!

even if it were, no way i’d stop. in my case = combination of wet socks (sweat) and skin that just won’t thicken. (i use tincture of benzoin).

My best blister prevention technique is/was proper fit and great socks, although lately, sitting on the couch has seemed to help:)

I was going to add that the right socks go along way in preventtion and it looks like I’m in agreement with the rest.
